As dear digital continues to expand, we're looking for a Shopify Solutions Architect to join our team. You’ll be the strategic link between Sales, Development, and our Clients, helping businesses design the optimal e-commerce architecture. You will guide clients in maximizing Shopify’s potential, ensuring that their webshops integrate seamlessly into a broader IT ecosystem.

What will you be doing?

• Advise clients on the best Shopify setup, ensuring their e-commerce operations are future-proof.
• Conduct discovery workshops to map business needs, IT infrastructure, and integration requirements.
• Create solution architectures that optimize Shopify’s native functionality and the Shopify app ecosystem.
• Translate business goals into technical roadmaps—think of yourself as the architect of scalable e-commerce solutions.
• Work closely with developers to align technical solutions with business expectations.
• Assess integration needs with external systems like ERP, PIM, WMS, OMS, CRM, and CDP.
• Identify risks and opportunities early and collaborate with the sales team to maximize client value.
• Clearly communicate the impact of architectural choices on Shopify store performance and business processes.
• Support project teams in delivering projects on time and within budget by ensuring clear technical guidance.

Who are we looking for?

• You have 3+ years of experience in the e-commerce industry.
• You have deep knowledge of Shopify (apps, APIs, headless commerce, Shopify Commerce Components).
• You understand common e-commerce architectures and have experience with enterprise SaaS solutions.
• You’re familiar with ERP, PIM, WMS, OMS, and CDP systems and how they interact with Shopify.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills—complex system designs don’t scare you.
• You enjoy leading client conversations, asking the right questions, and uncovering business needs.
• You can explain complex technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
• You thrive in a team-driven, fast-paced environment.
• You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (bonus points for German).

Bonus points if you:

• Have experience with other e-commerce platforms.
• Have web development knowledge (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, API integrations).
• Are familiar with low-code development and integration platforms.
• Can convincingly present solutions to both business and technical teams.
